Focusing on creatively resolving issues for both large and small businesses, and their individual stakeholders, spanning corporate formation, governance, compliance, regulatory, legislative, contract negotiation, identifying and negotiating tax incentives to enable growth, litigation (including class actions), creditors’ rights, alternative dispute resolution, critical situation management and media relations, internal investigations and fiduciary matters, including succession and estate planning and estate administration.


Darragh joined the Firm in early 2017 bringing over 35 years’ experience in both private practice and corporate general counsel roles for both public and private companies, most recently as General Counsel of Petco, the international specialty retail and Forbes 150 company. Darragh previously served as General Counsel of VISTA Information Technologies, as US General Counsel for Newbridge Networks, Inc. and in private practice. Darragh has extensive business and legal experience in the construction, IT, telecommunications, retail, and agriculture sectors.

Her combined legal and business executive experience has led to Darragh’s wearing many hats-- as lawyer, client, litigator, legislative and regulatory advocate, public-relations/media advisor, leader of high-performance legal teams, and VA land-owner/agpreneur -- engendering a deep understanding of the client’s perspective and need for efficient, practical and cost-effective delivery of legal services in both routine and critical situations.

Darragh complements the Firm’s existing practice with expertise in a broad range of business sectors in which our clients do business or with which they transact regularly, enabling her to identify mutual interests that facilitate closure of negotiations. She also serves as a resource to the Firm in executing upon its philosophy of continuous improvement in client-service delivery.

Darragh has served on a number of non-profit and regional development boards. She is a frequent faculty member on panels addressing a variety of topics, including alternative dispute resolution (“ADR”) and corporate counselling.
