Chris DeMers is a partner in the firm. His practice is focused on commercial and corporate transactions, with a concentration in commercial lending, real estate, and business transactions. He represents and advises national, regional, and community banks in connection with developing loan terms and structure, drafting and negotiating loan documents, conducting borrower and collateral due diligence, and closing secured lending transactions. Mr. DeMers also represents landlords, tenants, developers, and property owners in connection with commercial leases and other commercial real estate transactions.

Mr. DeMers is experienced in handling the sale, leasing, financing, and development of commercial real estate. He has represented community associations in the areas of corporate governance, covenant enforcement, contracting, and developer transition. In addition, Mr. DeMers is experienced in counseling clients on a range of corporate matters, including establishing and organizing corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, and non-profit corporations. His transactional experience is further supplemented by experience representing and advising clients in litigation matters, such as contract disputes and landlord-tenant matters.
